Where is Manto Retreat?
Manto Retreat is located on the edge of the pristine village of Pagi in the northwest of Corfu. It is quiet and private with a view of beautiful nature.
How many rooms are there? How many people can live there?
There are 4 rooms in the Country House (3 double rooms, 1 single room) and 2 Tiny Houses (double rooms).
This means 11 people can stay in the Manto Retreat.
Additional rooms or a teacher’s apartment can be rented upon request.
What else is there at Manto Retreat?
There is an indoor and outdoor kitchen, a BBQ, 3,000 sqm garden with: salt water pool 7 x 4 m, outdoor shower, deck chairs and comfortable seating, smoking area, partially covered yoga shala with equipment, Kyrgyz yurt, WiFi.
How do I get to Manto Retreat?
It is approximately 35 km from Corfu Airport (Ioannis Kapodistrias).
You can either take the public bus (twice a day on Saturdays), take a rental car or arrive with a private shuttle, which we are happy to arrange. The journey time across the island is around an hour.
Are there linens, towels/cleaning?
Bed linen is provided, towels for the bathroom are changed once a week. Please bring an extra towel for yoga, beach and/or pool.
Cleaning of the rooms/bathrooms once a week, final cleaning included.
How far is it to the beach / How do I get there?
The sea and the extensive sandy beach, framed by mountains, are 3 km away.
There is a hiking trail through olive groves or a shuttle service/taxi that can be booked.
The local bus goes to the beach several times a day.
Where can I eat/shop?
In Pagi there are two authentic Greek taverns, numerous taverns on the beach and several supermarkets and also an ATM.
Either you cook yourself or a catering service can be hired for dinner.
OR: You can hire a chef for breakfast and dinner – or you can bring you own chef.
What yoga equipment is available?
There are mats, pillows, blankets and a music system (quiet please!) in the partially covered yoga shala.
