1. Introduction
Welcome to Manto Corfu. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (https://manto-corfu.com) and the booking of our retreat space, accommodations, and additional services. By accessing our website or completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.In these terms, "we," "us," or "our" refers to Manto Corfu, located in Pagi, Corfu, Greece. "You" or "your" refers to the individual booking a stay, a retreat host renting the space, or any participant attending a retreat on our premises.

2. Services and Bookings
Manto Corfu provides a venue for holistic wellbeing, including accommodation, a yoga shala, a saltwater pool, and access to additional services such as private chefs and massage therapists.

Retreat Hosts: If you are booking the space to host a retreat, you are responsible for communicating relevant terms, safety guidelines, and schedule details to your participants.

Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once we have received the required deposit and sent a formal confirmation email.

3. Payment Terms
Deposits: To secure your dates, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking cost is required.

Final Payment: The remaining balance of 70% must be paid in full no later than 8 weeks before your scheduled arrival.

Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of €600 is payable together with the final payment. It is not part of the booking price. We check the property after your departure and refund the deposit by bank transfer within 14 days. We may deduct the cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged or missing, including keys; of cleaning beyond the usual level, for example after smoking indoors or an unapproved pet; and of any services booked during your stay that are still unpaid. Normal wear and tear is not deducted. Any deduction will be itemised in writing. If you cancel after paying the security deposit, it is refunded in full. For bookings made through platforms such as Booking.com or Airbnb, the platform's rules on deposits and damage apply.

Additional Services: Any supplementary services (e.g., content creation, bodywork, additional facilitators) requested during or prior to your stay will be billed separately and must be paid within 2 days.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations by You: If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing at info@manto-corfu.com. The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 8 weeks before arrival, no further payment is due. If you cancel between 8 and 4 weeks before arrival, we refund 25% of the balance you have already paid. If you cancel less than 4 weeks before arrival, no refund is given. For bookings made through platforms such as Booking.com or Airbnb, the cancellation policy shown on that platform applies.

Cancellations by Us: In the unlikely event that Manto Corfu must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to us. We are not liable for any additional travel expenses or losses you may incur.

5. Guest Responsibilities and Property Rules
To maintain Manto as a sanctuary for slowing down and reconnecting:

Quiet Hours: Guests are expected to observe quiet hours from 14:30 to 17:00 (the traditional Greek siesta) and after 22:00, to respect the local community and other guests.

Property Damage: You are responsible for any damage caused to the property, indoor/outdoor spaces, or equipment during your stay. Retreat hosts are also responsible for damage caused by their participants. Repair or replacement costs are deducted from the security deposit (see section 3); any amount above the deposit will be invoiced separately.

Prohibited Activities:  Smoking indoors, unauthorized events, or pets without prior approval are not allowed.

Assumption of Risk: Participation in physical activities, including but not limited to yoga, movement, and the use of the saltwater pool, involves inherent risks. By participating, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risk of injury or illness.

Medical Conditions: It is your responsibility (or the responsibility of the retreat host) to ensure that participants are physically and mentally fit to participate in the activities offered.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manto Corfu and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses to persons or property occurring on the premises.

6. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government travel restrictions.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.

8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the website or our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
